January Snow Weekend!

The first snow of 2025 has been a bit less than forecasted (so three inches rather than eight!), but the views from the windows are beautiful and for those who venture out, the roads are being safely maintained. Inside the B&B fresh hot cocoa and other goodies make puzzle working or reading seems extra enjoyable. Breakfast this morning featured a seasonally appropriate Butternut Squash and Almond Oatmeal Bake and Walnut and Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies are at the refreshment bar this afternoon. Just a mile or so down the road the Cloudmont Ski Resort is open with a mix of real and manmade snow for those looking to "SKI BAMA"! We are always eager for folks to learn how special Mentone is for a weekend getaway - ESPECIALLY when it is a Winter Wonderland!
